Expected to be warmer than yesterday with hotter days to come

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - The heat is on! Temperatures continue to rise as we are expected to be warmer than yesterday with temperatures in the mid-90s. Make sure to drink plenty of water and grab your sunglasses it will be a sunny day.

We will feel a breeze at times where winds in Yuma will favor the South with winds of 10 to 15 MPH. Imperial Valley winds will be a little lighter coming from the East Southeast with speeds of 5 to 10 MPH. Hopefully, the light breeze will help stay a little cooler as the warmer temperatures continue.

Temperatures will continue to rise as we will experience temperatures in the upper 90s by tomorrow. We have potential towards the end of the week to see our first triple digits of the year and temperatures will continue to be 10 to 15 degrees above our normal.
