News 11 Weather Authority: Nice start to April

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - We're starting April the same way we finished March, with near normal and relatively calm early Spring weather.

Daytime highs are maintaining the mid 80s level, with minimal changes expected for the 1st weekend of the month.

Another upper level disturbance will be the reason we keep our mercury in check, as high pressure is being held off from making a greater impact in that span of time.

That will change next week, as the ridge will rise our temperatures into the mid to high 90s.
