Multi-fatal accident involving college golf team leaves multiple dead
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Texas authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving the University of Southwest men's and women's golf team bus.
The state's Department of Public Safety says the vehicle taking the student-athletes from a tournament struck a Ford F-150 head-on Tuesday night.
The collision sparked a fire that officials said could be seen miles away.
Fatalities were reported in both vehicles, but authorities have not released the identities of the victims.
The Texas Highway District crash team is investigating the incident.
The cause of the accident has not been confirmed.
