El Centro’s 2022 Skate Love Art Music Festival
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Dust off your skateboards and bikes for El Centro's Skate Love Art Music (SLAM) Festival this weekend on March 19!
SLAM will be located at the Brett Driscoll Sidewinder Skate Park at 650 Park Avenue and can also be found at the lawn throughout Adams Avenue.
It will begin precisely at 12 p.m. and will host BMX and skate competitions along with family entertainment.
Come with an appetite because food will be there! Entertainment will be from artists and live music.
The BMX competition starts at 1 p.m. while the skate competition begins at 3 p.m.
You can find registration for both competitions on-site at 12 p.m.
All competitors must wear protective gear.
Minors partaking at SLAM must be accompanied by an adults.
In order to host this event, the Sidewinder Skate Park will be closed on Friday, March 18.
