Warm and dry week ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Happy Monday! A ridge of high pressure is keeping the Desert Southwest warm and dry—we can expect a warm day ahead.

Temperatures will warm up very quickly by lunchtime into the 80s and later this afternoon our expected high will be in the mid and upper 80s. We will see lots of sunshine and the winds will be light.

Warm and dry conditions will be with us all this week as a ridge of high pressure is sticking with us. We will be dealing with above-normal temperatures.

By tomorrow, our temperatures will rise as some areas will be experiencing temperatures in the 90s. A warming trend will be with us all this week and our temperatures will be about 10 degrees above normal. Get ready the heat is on this week.
