Staying breezy today with a warmer weekend ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Starting our morning breezy and chilly. We'll see clear skies and lots of sunshine with temperatures continuing to be below our seasonal average.

Winds are much calmer than yesterday, however, our conditions will still be breezy as our winds will favor the north with speeds 15 to 25 MPH.

Winds will calm down by the night and temperatures will also drop into the low and upper 40s. It will be a pretty chilly night ahead, so if you have any Friday night plans make sure to wear a jacket.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we will see a few clouds in our skies, but still, lots of sunshine and winds will stay light. Temperatures will feel close to normal as we will see our temperatures rise back into the 80s for the weekend. A ridge of high pressure will form over the region this weekend as we get ready for another major warming trend for next week.
