Sidewinders edge Hawks

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The San Luis Sidewinders prevailed by a single run against Gila Ridge on Tuesday.

Two days later, both programs would get a rematch on Yuma's East side.

This time around, it would turn into a pitcher's duel between the Sidewinder's Wilber Espinoza and the Hawk's Caleb Rosado.

Both starting hurlers would keep the game scoreless through the 1st 4 innings of the contest.

San Luis would get going in the 5th and 6th innings, scoring 3 runs by Javier Ponce, Eduardo Villareal and Javier Rochin.

That would be all the scoring on the afternoon, as the Sidewinders take the 3-0 win and sweep the season series between these 2 area baseball powers.
