Slawson, Furman beat Samford 71-68 in SoCon tourney semis

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Jalen Slawson had 17 points and seven rebounds as Furman narrowly defeated Samford 71-68 in the Southern Conference tournament semifinals. Ques Glover led the Bulldogs with 23 points.
