Arizona woman sentenced 15 years for stabbing death

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - Nina Maria Harrison was sentenced to 15 years in prison and three years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Susan M. Brnovich.
Harrison had previously pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
The attack was at the Gila River Indian Community where Harrison is an enrolled member.
On Feb. 22, 2020, Harrison attacked the victim by stabbing her multiple times, killing her.
The Gila River Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation in this case.
Raynette Logan, Assistant U.S. Attorney, District of Arizona, Phoenix, conducted the prosecution.
