Weinstein’s 8 cases being reviewed by DA

(KSWT/KYMA/KECY) - A Los Angeles County District Attorney spokesperson says the DA is reviewing eight cases in the investigation against disgraced filmmaker Harvey Weinstein.

The spokesperson said no further details on the cases are available but dozens of women have accused Weinstein of sexual abuse.

The allegations range from harassment to rape.

Weinstein stands charged with raping a woman in a new york hotel room in 2013.

Another accuser says he forcibly performed oral sex on her at his Manhattan apartment in 2006.

Weinstein has repeatedly denied all allegations of non-consensual sex and has pleaded not guilty.

He had a bail hearing on December 11th. His sexual assault trial is scheduled to start on January 6th.
