Sebastian Molina

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- A building high pressure system Friday into the weekend will allow for a decent warm up with highs reaching near 70 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), clouds ahead of a Pacific storm system will move into the region as early as mid day Saturday, but any rain chances will hold off until at least Monday.

Best rain chances will occur Monday night into Tuesday morning with lingering showers mostly over high terrain areas into Wednesday.

High temperatures for much of next week will drop below normal readings, but overnight lows should stay around normal.
