World expo day held at local college

Arizona Western College held their annual World Expo Thursday where a variety of cultures were showcased.

The event is put on by international students in the college.

Students set up presentation boards showcasing what their culture of origin is known for, as well as their cultural food, clothing, and music.

Dance performances were also held on the stage, showcasing traditional music and entertainment within that region.

The goal of the event is to showcase cultural diversity within the college as well the importance of it in colleges nationwide.

The event was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Schoenig Conference Center at Arizona Western College.
