Lanes cleared following vehicle fire on I-8 near Telegraph Pass

ADOT has confirmed all lanes have been cleared following reports of a vehicle fire on Interstate 8 Monday evening.

ORIGINAL STORY

The westbound lanes of Interstate 8 near Telegraph Pass are closed due to a vehicle fire Monday evening, according to Arizona Department of Transportation.

ADOT officials are warning of heavy traffic conditions and recommend drivers to postpone travel or use alternate route.

All traffic is being directed off the freeway at Liguarta Road. Small vehicles can re-enter the freeway after that while trucks cannot, authorities said.
