Man with fentanyl on groin arrested at Port of San Luis
A 23-year-old man was arrested after Customs and Border Protection (CBP) discovered fentanyl on his groin at the Port of San Luis Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release, officers sent a 23-year-old Glendale, Ariz. resident for an additional inspection. During the search, a narcotics detection canine alerted to the man’s groin. This led to the discovery of a single package that weighed .12 pound and estimated to be worth $1,740.
The drugs were seized by CBP. The man was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
