New things coming to the Yuma County Fair

The sixty-seventh annual Yuma County Fair is just around the corner and families can expect new things coming to the fair including new local bands.

Marketing Director, Blake Wofford, said that this year they are expecting 165,000 to 175,000 people to attend this year. He also said that there will be 40 to 50 local food and commercial vendors, adding that this will impact in Yuma’s economy.

“There will be new rides that are coming in and we have the new pig races coming and we have a lot of local bands as well coming in. We have Hermans Street and a side hustle,” said Wofford.

The Yuma Fair officially kicks off April 2 and will last until April 7. Gates will open at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
