Family of man killed at Yuma gas station speaks out

The family of Manuel Gonzalez-Bravo, the twenty-six-year-old man who was shot multiple times and killed at a Chevron in Yuma, continues to grieve at the loss of their loved one following the horrific incident last Friday.

The oldest of three brothers, Kevin Gonzalez-Bravo remembers the call he received that same day.

“My youngest brother called me crying and my first thought – my mom – and he was like you need to come to Yuma, Manuel is dead,” said Bravo.

Kevin knew something had happened when he didn’t receive a phone call back from Manuel the night before the incident.

“I went to my room and started yelling and crying, I dialed his number hoping for an answer and hoping it’s just another dream, but it would just go to voicemail,” said Bravo.

As the days go by the Bravo family is ready to lie to rest what they said will be an angel looking over them.

“My brother is ready to be put to rest so we can start moving on and remembering him for who he was,” said Bravo.
