APS says all power has been restored in San Luis

UPDATE (1:20 P.M.)

According to APS officials, all power has been restored as of 12 p.m. Monday.

UPDATE

Over 900 are still without power after reports of power outages were made early Monday morning. Power is expected to be restored at noon, according to APS.

Power at Gadsden Elementary School District and San Luis City Hall has been reinstated, according to the City of San Luis Facebook page.

The San Luis Police Department said APS crews continue to work on restoring power.

UPDATE:

Power is expected to be restored at 8 a.m. after more than 4,000 people were left without power early Monday morning, according to Arizona Public Service.

Gadsden Elementary School District said Monday that classes are expected to continue as normal.

San Luis City Hall will remain closed until power is restored, according to a Facebook post Monday .

ORIGINAL STORY

More than 4,000 people are without power following an outage in San Luis. The power is said to be restored by 7:00 a.m., according to Arizona Public Service.

APS reported that the cause of the power outage is due to an animal in equipment.

Those affected by the outage include:

Las Brisas St. to A St. and Sality Canal Rd. to 8th St.
