Yuma house fire under investigation, Red Cross assisting family

A Yuma house fire is under investigation as of Tuesday morning, according to Rural Metro.

Rural Metro said they received a call at around 11 a.m. and arrived at the scene of a fire in the 16000 block of S Avenue A and 1/2.

No one was in the home, according to Rural Metro.

Due to the severity of the fire, Somerton Fire Department Yuma Proving Grounds Fire Department and Yuma Fire Department arrived at the scene.

Rural Metro said three vehicles were damaged and four people were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.

According to Rural Metro, the Red Cross was also called to assist the family.

This fire is currently under investigation.
