UPDATE: YPD identifies motorcyclist who lost his life in collision

UPDATE:

YPD has identified the motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision Thursday morning as 57-year-old Lewis Baldwin.

One man is dead after a fatal collision that occurred Thursday morning at around 7 a.m. on 32nd Street at Cielo Verde Drive, according to the Yuma Police Department.

YPD said a utility truck was traveling westbound on 32 nd Street and attempted to turn left onto Cielo Verde Drive when it struck a motorcycle traveling eastbound on 32 nd Street.

The motorcycle rider, a 57-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

This collision is still under investigation.
