Gadsden Marching Band to perform in Rome

Gadsden Elementary School District’s Marching Band has performed all across the world but as the saying goes, all roads lead to Rome.

The marching band will participate at the New Year’s Parade in Rome, Italy on January 1, 2019. 70 students from the Gadsden Marching Band will be departing to Rome on December 27.

The parade will take place along the Grand Via della Conciliazione and end in St. Peter’s Square.

Before the parade, the marching band will perform at several plazas around Rome.

Over 100,000 people from all over the world process to St. Peter’s Square. Other participants include military, civic, school marching bands, and auxiliary units.
