Minor allegedly involved in taxi cab murder appears in court
One of two young suspects allegedly involved in the murder of a local taxi cab driver appeared in court Wednesday to continue his final management conference originally scheduled for October.
Tyrus Nathan Twist, 16, appeared in court to allow his lawyer to discuss any progress made on his case.
Twist’s attorney informed the judge that this is a “voluminous case” and that the evidence would not be able to be fully explored within 30 days.
She requested that the judge reschedule the final management conference for next month.
Judge Kinsey agreed and Twist will reappear in January.
