Vehicle lands on its roof on 16th Street

A vehicle landed on its roof after being struck by a truck while attempting to enter the Smart & Final on 16th Street Wednesday.

Yuma Police Department said an SUV was heading eastbound on 16th Street and was trying to turn into the Smart & Final located at 276 East 16th Street. As two westbound lanes created a gap for the SUV to turn, a truck heading westbound on the third lane struck the SUV causing it to roll over.

Authorities said it currently unknown if anyone was injured.
