NAF celebrates the season with parade of lights

The Naval Air Facility in El Centro celebrated the holidays with a parade of lights that drew out over 2,000 people.

There were 35 entries in the 21st Annual Holiday Parade of Lights. It included floats, school marching bands, public and private organizations, among others.

Recognitions awards for best presentations were given at the end of the festivity which started at 7 p.m. and ended around 8:30 p.m.

The Commanding Officer’s Choice: AOC Support Services.

The Executive Officer’s Choice: Border Patrol Equestrian Unit.

The Senior Enlisted Leader’s Choice: Imperial Valley Cruise Knights.

Best High School Band: Southwest High School.

Best Middle School Band: Frank Wright Middle School.

Best in Showmanship: Heber Hawks Drumline.
