Caitlyn Jenner visits US-Mexico border as part of recall campaign

Documents experience over social media

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY/CBS) - Caitlyn Jenner showed California voters how serious she takes the immigration crisis by visiting the U.S.-Mexico Border Friday.

"I am not running as a trans candidate. I am running as a citizen of the State of California, that I have lived here for 48 years, expressed Jenner.

Coming to California back in 1973, she's seen the state head in a negative direction as it becomes increasingly difficult to do business here. Jenner also recognizes the need to hear directly from U.S. Border Patrol agents.

She documented the visit for her 3.4 million Twitter followers. Jenner took the opportunity to call out illegal immigration, claiming she "will finish the wall with state funds!"

"We need as Californians to, bottom line, secure this border, whatever it takes, we need to have the resources down here, whether it's state where most cases state resources to fill in all the gaps. We don't have a state. We do not have a country unless we have a secure border. Bottom line, that's it," says California's potential, future governor.
