It’s Black Friday

Today’s the day all you shopaholics have been waiting for. It’s Black Friday and whether you braved the stores or did most of your shopping online, starting Thanksgiving Day people have been out in full force getting their shopping needs met. Many participating in Black Friday for the first time.

Here is what some local shoppers had to say about the Black Friday festivities.

“I like Black Friday, it’s coming together, it’s searching online and finding what you want and finding the best deal,” said Fritz Randolph.

“It’s been extremely busy everywhere. Lots of cars and very hard to park,” said Francoise.

“It’s been one hell of day. The lines are so long,” said Elaine Beaudoin.

“I think it’s kinda fun to see people looking at all the stuff and buying these things,” said Gary Jones.

While a lot of shoppers enjoyed the day, a lot of people said that they are most excited about Cyber Monday on November 26th and that the crowds in Yuma to their surprise were a lot busier than expected.
