Pet Talk: Meet Tasha and Mijo

On this Columbus Day, we recognize two adorable animals up for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.

First up is Tasha. This fluffy gray and white cat is adorable. She was surrendered by her owners in June and brought into the shelter with her sister. Tasha has a great disposition and enjoys meeting new people. She likes to play and she gets along with other cats. Her age is unknown, but she weighs about 13 pounds. While Tasha is a long-haired feline, she doesn’t seem to shed that much which is a plus. Visit her today.

Next is Mijo. This Brown and Creme Pit Bull is so friendly and playful. Mijo weighs a solid 62 pounds of muscle and was surrendered by his owners for unknown reasons. Mijo enjoys playing with other dogs and loves the water. If you have a pool, you can pretty much expect Mijo to jump in it. Mijo needs a family that is going to give him lots of attention and take him on daily walks multiple times a day. As the weather has cooled down, a big yard for Mijo to run around in, is a bonus. He is neutered and ready to meet you.
