Buffalo Wild Wings hosts takeover event to support Humane Society of Yuma

Today, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M., the Buffalo Wild Wings at Yuma Palms is hosting a special takeover event.

Buffalo Wild Wings and Humane Society of Yuma is partnering to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.

Customers should bring in the attached flyer in order to participate in the event.

Buffalo Wild Wings is donating 15% of the proceeds to the Humane Society of Yuma to “lend a paw to pets in need.”

Humane Society’s Director of Development Lana Shapiro, said that the money raised will go to the general operations fund.

This fund helps keep the shelter afloat during summer months when there tends to be a decrease in donations.

Shapiro says she is very thankful and happy that Buffalo Wild Wings is willing to help the Humane Society of Yuma.

In addition to this event, Buffalo Wild Wings is continuing its PAWS campaign through the remainder of July.

Customers can make direct donations to the Humane Society of Yuma and get their name put on a special “PAW” that is displayed around the restaurant as a thank you.

Upcoming Humane Society events include the annual “Fur Ball” which will include live entertainment, food, dancing and a silent auction to benefit the New Shelter project.
