Lane restrictions on Araby Road scheduled to begin Monday

Arizona Department of Transportation is warning Yuma drivers of upcoming lane restrictions on Araby Road beginning Monday, April 23rd.

Workers are scheduled to relocate utilities between Interstate 8 and 30th Street as ADOT prepares for the second phase of construction of the I-8 and Araby Road Traffic Interchange Improvement project.

The southbound right lane on Araby Road in the work zone will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, April 23rd through April 30th.

Lane restrictions will be set for 24 hours for seven days until Monday, April 30th.

Drivers should take precaution around construction crews and equipment, obey speed limits, and traffic control devices.
