Shooting in Yuma under investigation
The Yuma Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 2500 block west of 21st Lane on Tuesday at approximately 6:25 p.m.
The investigation revealed that shots were fired in the street while two male subjects were fighting. One man was struck in the leg and fled the scene and the other stayed.
The victim with the gunshot wound was located at Regency Square Apartments and was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
