Vehicle collides into local business
On Saturday before noon, Yuma Police Department responded to an accident involving a 2015 Black Chrysler striking a local business on West 32nd Street.
The driver of the vehicle is a 23-year-old man who was crossing the intersection of W. 32nd Street and Business loop 8 when he struck the median which caused the vehicle to leave the roadway then into the building. The business called Truck Mates suffered significant damage with no injuries reported.
The driver was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with neither alcohol or drugs considered to be a factor. The case is under investigation.
