The Better Business Bureau will host a virtual job fair this month

The BBB hopes the event will connect businesses in desperate need of workers with job seekers

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Across the country 'help wanted' signs remain on business windows. Workforce shortages are being reported across the board.

So, the Better Business Bureau is known for providing tools for businesses and consumers alike created Re:cruit an online virtual job fair platform. Businesses can reserve a virtual booth and connect with possible prospects by use of an app.

The Career Fair Plus App allows job seekers to upload their resumes, references and even schedule video chats with hiring businesses.

Businesses interested in reserving their booth can pay $49 for BBB members and $79 for nonmembers. Nonprofits interested in taking part in the event will only have to pay $25.

Sponsors for the event are currently being accepted
