High heat continues throughout the desert southwest into the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - Above average temps continue throughout the desert southwest with highs expected to reach between 108-112 degrees. An excessive heat warning is in effect until 9:00 p.m. MST for portions of western Imperial County.
