Health Minute: New technology helps correct birth defect

(KYMA, KECY) - Doctors at a U.S hospital said that new 3-D technology is making it safer to perform a procedure for Spina Bifida.

Spina Bifida is a birth defect where the spine and spinal cord don't properly form.

3-D technology will help doctors see the size and location of the defect and help plan the surgery more safely.
