News 11 Weather Authority: Early June heat increase

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - As we start the month of June, the latest rise in heat will bring us to our highest levels yet.

By Wednesday, daytime highs could possibly exceed 105 degrees.

Some areas could even get close to 110 degrees before the end of the 1st full week of the new month.

A strengthening ridge to the West will keep it's influence on our area at least through much of the next weekend, before we get a short heat reprieve.
