Letters to victims and parents of the Parkland Shooting

It’s been almost a month since the Parkland shooting, and local students are keeping the conversation of school and gun safety alive.

At Fourth Avenue Jr. High School, students who are learning English as a second language were assigned a project to write letters to the parents and victims of Stoneman Douglas High School.

In the letters, they wrote about his/hers’ favorite interests, what they did in junior high school, and for their parents to know that they are surrounded by prayers and hope for change.
