Two injured in Somerton shooting

The Somerton Police Department said two people were shot in broad daylight.

The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. Thursday, in the intersection of Columbia Ave. and Joshua St.

One of the victims was shot in the leg. The other victim was shot in the chest. They both have non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect was in a gray vehicle. That is the only suspect description available at this time.
