Hours before the ‘Harvest Dinner’

As the Southwest AG Summit wraps up, the ‘Harvest Dinner’ is ready to serve the ‘Art of Farming’.

For over ten years the tradition has been apart of AG week. The dinner will celebrate the dedication and hard work in the agriculture industry in Yuma, with a silent auction and live displays of fruit and vegetable carving. The art form not only highlights the produce grown in Yuma but how it can be made into a work of art.

“It enables you to be creative,” said Chef Ray L. Ducey. “If you are creative with your food, you actually take an interest and learn more about it. The more you know about food, the better your nutrition is, your budget, it just works all around.”
