Imperial High School grad completes Air Force basic training
A 2017 Imperial High School graduate completed Air Force basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, TX.
Gabriela Din Pantoja, of Imperial, Calif., finished an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Those who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Din Pantoja is the daughter of Hilda A. McLees of Imperial, Calif., and Edward W. Espinoza of Brawley, Calif., and sister of Jason M. Marquez of El Centro, Calif., and Samuel W. Espinoza of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. She is also the wife of Evan S. Din Pantoja.
