News 11 Weather Authority: Wind impact starting up

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - The latest low pressure disturbance is a massive feature, bringing in breezy to gusty conditions area wide.

The National Weather Service has the entire Imperial County under a Wind Advisory until midnight tonight.

El Centro already has winds that have topped off with gusts up to 41 miles per hour.

Meanwhile, the Colorado River Valley is under a Fire Weather Warning until 9 pm tonight.

The breezy to windy conditions will likely continue into Friday, but the temperatures will continue to tumble, with expected daytime highs in the middle 80s for Friday and Saturday.
