UPDATE: Brush fire along Colorado River contained
Flames did not damage, or threaten any structures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) now says a fire burning along the Colorado River charred ten acres before crews stopped it from spreading.
The fire was burning along the river's north levee on tribal land. It was clearly visible from the Paradise Casino, and the black smoke could also be easily seen from Yuma.
The BLM says at this point it's pretty much reduced to embers. A crew will remain on scene overnight to monitor hot spots.
A fire investigator is expected to arrive Thursday to determine how the blaze started. The BLM also plans to send a bulldozer in to clear away some of the dry brush.
The fire didn't damage, or even threaten, any structures.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - KYMA.com is receiving reports of another brush fire along the Colorado River.
The fire is burning on the north side of the levee, still no word on the exact size.
Rural Metro says its crews arrived on the scene around 3 Wednesday afternoon. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) fire crews joined them about 40-minutes later. Both crews remain on scene.
