Online school appeals to parents seeking education alternatives

Primavera Schools has been conducting virtual studies for decades

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - In what seemed to be a split second traditional brick and mortar schools had to swiftly convert to web-based education. The pandemic, through the country's education system into a tail-spin.

Districts faced network issues, equipment problems to name just a few of the obstacles they faced as they transitioned into vitual learning. Along the way students had to evolve from an in-person classroom to one on a computer screen.

Jason Tourville the Executive Director of Primavera schools says that many students were left in the process. Primavera is reaching out to parents who are dissatisfied with the way their children's education is going.

During the summer the vitrual school is offering students the opportunity to catch up and possibly even advance. The school is 100% online and has been teaching virtually since 2001.
