Woman in serious condition after suffering gunshot wound
The Yuma Police Department responded to shots fired call approximately after 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers located a 23-year-old female with a gunshot wound upon arrival.
Police said the shooting took place on the 900 block of S. 1st Avenue.
The victim was rushed to the Yuma Regional Medical Center. She is reportedly in serious condition.
There are no suspects in custody at this time. The Yuma Police Department is still investigating the scene.
