Vehicle rollover on State Route 98 west of Mountain Signal

A vehicle rollover was reported on State Route 98 (SR-98) west of Mountain Signal in El Centro Wednesday afternoon.

Maria Woodard was driving a 1996 Nissan eastbound on SR-98 when the vehicle drifted off the North Road edge of Sr-98.

Woodard attempted to turn to the right and caused the vehicle to overturn. Woodard, who was not wearing a seatbelt during the incident, was ejected from the Nissan and sustained major injuries.

The incident is still under investigation.
