First Alert Forecast: Bring on the heat

Above average temps creep into the desert southwest along with some gusty winds

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) -  Dry conditions, slightly above normal temperatures, and clear skies will prevail through Tuesday as a weak weather system remains situated well north of our region. A modestly strong high pressure system will then move into the region during the latter half of the week resulting in warmer temperatures and highs likely topping the 100 degree mark across the lower deserts for Thursday and Friday.
