Question of the day: Should job search proof be required for unemployment?

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA/KECY) - As COVID-19 begins to slow down ravaging thru the nation, vaccine rollouts continue day after day. More and more Americans continue to get inoculated, but many are not returning to work.

Employers that were fearing having to close their business during the pandemic are now faced with a new challenge: finding workers to hire. Restaurants have taken a hit in the quality of service they can provide in order to meet the demand of hungry diners eager to once again return to a life they knew pre-pandemic.

In an effort to take action, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has ordered that in order to continue to receive unemployment benefits, Arizonans must now provide proof that they are actively seeking employment, thus inspiring our topic of the day.

Over 20 respondents , more than 90% all agree that proof of job-seeking should be required once again.
