Yuma armed robbery suspect sought
Police are searching for a suspect or suspects who held up a man at gunpoint outside a shopping center on 8th Street and 12th Avenue.
According to an employee at a local laundromat, the suspect’s approached the man standing in the parking lot shortly before 12 p.m. on Sept. 12.
“No, there were no injuries. They just threatened the man and I think the person gave all his belongings to the suspects,” said the employee. “My co-worker told me that the suspects were of color that had threatened the other man with a gun.”
The man got away with several of the man’s personal items.
