YCSO collects nearly 270 pounds of Rx meds
Efforts are part of DEA's National Prescription Take Back Day
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) announced Saturday evening that their Foothills Substation collected approximately 268 pounds of prescription medications as part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Take Back campaign.

Deputies would like to give a big "thanks" to everyone who participated this year by properly disposing of their medications.

If you missed Saturday's event, the community can still drop off unused or expired prescription medications Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., at YCSO's main office at 141 S. 3rd Ave.
