Relief for Hurricane Harvey victims
Hurricane Harvey has left many Houston residents struggling and people in Yuma County and Imperial County are gathering donations to help those affected. Here’s a list of some of the people to contact and locations to direct your donations.
Yuma County
David L. Murray can be contacted through his Facebook page.
Hygiene care packages can be donated at B1 Elite Fitness from Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. -6 p.m. and Friday 6 a.m.- 12 p.m. until Friday, Sept. 8th.
Heather Finnegan will be receiving donations at Littlewood Fine Arts & Community Co-Op located at 1480 S. 2nd Ave. Yuma, Ariz. 85364. Click here for the link to the event page.
Heather Pettigrew will be receiving donations at 28733 San Jose Ave. in Foothills on Thursday afternoon. She can be contacted through her Facebook page and has also created a GoFundMe page.
Imperial County
Cody Preece will be receiving cash donations for the trip to Sealy, TX until Thursday, Aug. 31st and his phone number is (760-621-2281).
Preece will be dropping off donations at three locations in the Sealy area: a shelter, Knights of Columbus Hall and the Red Cross.
