Cibola softball defeats Kofa

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - For the 1st this Spring, the Cibola Lady Raiders met up with the Kofa Lady Kings on Thursday night.

It didn't take long for the Gold and Black to assert it's dominance, racking up 11 runs in the 1st 3 innings to come away with the convincing 15-2 win.

Cibola starting pitcher Alanie Ornales hit an inside the park home run in the 3rd.

Both teams will play each other again next Tuesday afternoon at Cibola High School.

The opening pitch will take place at 4 pm.
