President Donald Trump in Yuma Tuesday

President Donald Trump will be in Yuma Tuesday before his visit to Phoenix. His visit to Yuma was confirmed in a release sent to media from the White House.Trump plans on visiting Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Tuesday afternoon.

The last time a president visited Yuma was in 2006. Former President George W. Bush visited the U.S. – Mexico Border just one day after the Senate approved funding for 400 miles of border fencing.

The House approved a spending bill in July of $1.6 billion to go towards a border wall on the U.S.- Mexico Border. Trump will also be in Phoenix Tuesday for a rally at the Phoenix Convention Center. The rally will be held at 7 p.m.
